Roles
Leads can be scoped to any level of your location hierarchy. A lead anchored to a Region node manages everything under that region. A lead anchored to a Building node manages just that building. The role is the same — only the scope differs.
Inviting a team member
Only admins and leads can send invites. New members are always created as Field Techs — promote them after they accept if needed.1
Open the Team page
Log into the dashboard and click Team in the left navigation.

Enter the technician's email
In the Invite Team Member card, enter their email address and click Send Invite.

The technician receives an email with a secure link. When they click it their account is created automatically. They land on a page with a link to download the Forager app.
4
Assign the technician to their sites
After the invite is sent, a prompt links to the Sites page. Assign the new tech to their building — until assigned, they see an empty screen in the app.

New technicians do not need to set a password. If they ever need one after the invite link expires, they can use Forgot Password on the login screen.

- Lead — requires selecting a scope node from your location hierarchy. The lead will see and manage only the locations and users within that node’s subtree.
