1
Upload floor plans
Make sure each floor that holds EC items has a floor plan uploaded and its rooms placed. If you’re already running Forager for asset tracking, this is done. Otherwise, see the Onboarding Checklist for the location-hierarchy and floor-plan steps.
2
Import your EC item inventory
Export your extinguisher/eyewash/AED/etc. inventory to CSV — item kind, building, and floor are the only required columns — and run it through the dashboard importer. Rooms are fuzzy-matched, unmatched items land at floor level with their location hints intact, and every item gets an automatic room-center pin.

3
Print labels
Generate QR label sheets (Avery 5160) for the imported items from the dashboard. Print them and hand each inspector the sheets for their floors.
4
Walk the first round
The inspector walks the floor with labels in hand. At each item:
- Stick the label on the item
- Scan it
- Tap the item’s true position on the floor plan (one tap — the map is pre-centered on its room)
- Photo + checklist
RF calibration — optional, and retroactive
You do not need RF room calibration to start. Attestation-core evidence (scan + photo + inspector + timestamps) and the sequence-plausibility co-signals work from day one. When you do survey rooms — at rollout or months later — RF corroboration strengthens your evidence retroactively: every inspection captures a raw RF snapshot regardless, and those historical snapshots become scorable once the rooms they were taken in are calibrated.Survey Mode
